NADRA alongside the Government of Khyber Pukhtunkhaw (KPK) held a trial voting using our Biometric System at Peshawar. This exercise was meant to check the efficacy of EVM in holding of error–free and transparent polling in the local bodies’ elections in KPK. NADRA, using our Biometric Identification System, conducted a successful test run of entire e-voting process and inferred following benefits from the exercise:
The Elections 2013 saw some undeniable irregularities such as inefficient management on part of polling stations and evident incidents of corruption in results compilation. This resulted in tremendous inconvenience and despair in a large number of people. It also led to a feeling of mistrust in the entire electoral process, despite spending billions of rupees. In the wake of all these indiscretions, a dire need was felt at the national level for a solution that ensured fair and transparent elections.
Electronic Voting Machine “EVM” is designed and developed in collaboration with NADRA to revolutionize Electoral system in Pakistan by ensuring free, fair and transparent elections.
Our Biometric Solution has been designed to revolutionize Electoral System in Pakistan and is a proactive initiative that will ensure new trends, ease of use and transparency. We are indeed proud to have come up with a futuristic technology, which guarantees convenience for voters and certifies credibility of the entire electoral process.
