AKSA-SDS provides Microfilm conversion services. Our Microfilm scanners will convert your files from Microfilm to images faster than you can imagine. Image format will be of your choice. Converting from microfilm will become easy and simple. We use the most outstanding microfilm equipment and microfilm scanners to give you the best quality. Microfilm preparation:
• Preparation of Microfilm rolls
• Repair of damaged Microfilm
Microfilm Scanning:

This is the process in which the actual image of the documents is extracted from Microfilm in the TIFF image format.

Image clean-up:
Application of different image enhancement techniques such as Erode, Dilate, Punch hole repair, Character Repair, Image resizing and Skew etc. as required.
OCR /ICR/OMR processing:

• At AKSA-SDS we have developed our own engines for OCR (Optical Character Recognition), ICR (Intelligent Character Recognition) for hand writing and OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) with very high almost 100% recognition accuracy rates. It is even better than industry observed manual data entry operator's accuracy rates.

• Running the OCR/ICR/OMR on the forms and documents to pick up the desired data.

• Our OCR and ICR engines are designed specifically to recognize and extract both machine written and hand written data with unprecedented accuracy.
